We are a husband and wife team (Ottis and Gail) evangelizing together both in word and song.  As a musical duo, Whitman Gore presents a Southern Gospel style, a little Contemporary and also mixes in some of their favorite hymns.  Gail is a gifted song writer and their program mostly consists of her original songs.  Gail contributes her gift of writing music to God.  She is quoted as saying, 'God gave them to me or I couldn't have wrote them.'

As ministers, they are both credentialed ministers in their denomination and choose to preach and sing the gospel because of the calling placed upon their lives by God.  Bishop Ottis Gore states "Our desire is to see souls saved and be a blessing to the people of God."   They have ministered for approximately 29+ years in different capacities within the church (including Senior Pastor).

Ottis (pronounced 'ah-tis') was born in Wilmington, NC and attended New Hanover High School. He sang in the choir at his home church and excelled in vocal talent both in school and in church. 

After marrying and moving to Benson, NC in 1983, he and wife Gail, ministered in music and in the youth program at their church in Benson NC.  Around 1992, Ottis felt the call to pursue credentials as a minister of the Word.  He began his first pastorate in Wade, NC in 1993.  Ottis attended Heritage Bible College in Dunn, NC and received his Bachelor of Religious Studies.

Gail was born in Raleigh, NC, grew up in Benson, and was faithful and loyal to her church.  At the age of 12, Gail began to play the piano for her church.  She was active in the church as the pianist until she was older and began to take on more responsibilities.  Gail served as Teen Sunday School Teacher, Youth Director, and Radio Ministry Broadcast.  She traveled with the Whitman Family Singers, which is her family, approximately 20+ years as vocalist and pianist. 

Gail pursued her calling as a minister with her husband and is now an Ordained Minister.  They both work together in the venue God has called them. 

Currently, Bishop Ottis and Gail are members of Praise Fellowship in Fayetteville, NC.  

Ottis and Gail have one son whose name is Cliff.
